I got the real techniques brush today yipeeee! Honestly i've been drooling over these brush for the longest time and it SORT of depressed me ( lol i know.. its not that serious) when it wasn't out in stores in canada.  But finally i have joined the pickup truck (yes pick up truck not band wagon) of ladies with real techniques (insert alingo dance :P).

I purchased them from walmart in the lincoln fields shopping center. I went there to buy watch for my clinical ooo na him i come find real techniques lol I COULD NOT RESIST!

I also bought some lipsticks two days ago. I got 2 rimmel lippies from the kate moss line to be exact. Also got a gloss and lippie  from my aunt who's a beauty consultant for mary kay (free thinzzz). Anywho all i gotza say is that the kate moss lippies smell soooo yummy. Get on that! shoppers drug mart has them on sale for like $5.38 so plix plix 'ga zuor lipstick biko osisor osisor' ( for my igbo folks)

Ehn one more thing I bought the nearly naked foundation by revlon from shoppers for 13 dollars while walmart is selling for $10. PLZ my pledge now is  'i pledge to walmart my no one spot to serve and buy from you with all my strength' cuz shoppers sucks and I say this with rage. Stingy people mchewww i bought the caramel shade of the foundation and I did not even use the thing for a day (well, I sorta kinda opened it) and on returning it, those people refused to take it back kai. You know as an igbo babe i just had to get my 13 geez back. But mehn i gave up after two days of trying because the thing almost one turn insult. Soo i jus respecteh my selfeh,  threw the blasted thing away and did the 'woozah' 13 dollars won't kill me abeg

Growing up I never had an interest, talent or drive to be creative or craftsy.  Honestly since I discovered youtube, I have discovered a whole new world. Finally i can teach myself a craft without necessarily going to school to learn it. My love for makeup and skin care started in December of 2011 and the journey has been amazhinggg so far. Finally I have found something that i can connect to and learn happily and effortlessly. Something that doesn't involve academics. Anyways makeup is my escape, my way of expressing or hiding my emotions (lol i kid you not). Enough of the blabbing...the main point is I've been trying to practice a green smokey eye for the longest time and I decided to try my luck today and PRESTO! I think i got it :D

- What around your house represents your culture?- my traditional clothes  

- What do you like about your culture?- igbo people know how to preserve culture and stories. ( I mean if your igbo and haven't heard first hand stories about the biafran war then i don't know whatchu doing jk.) As in igbo people so not miss christmas or new year festivities in the village :)

- What is a ridiculous question you were asked about your culture?-  i won't call them ridiculous questions but i'd say the stupid assumptions that have been made about me are are 'oh your light so you definitely must be igbo' or  'you must be money hungry and cunning cause your igbo' (I mean this attribute pertains to every culture) or the best i've heard is 'you have sooo many igbo names I thought you'd have an igbo accent' (honestly :|)

- What can you do to improve your country?- the health care system. More prevention schemes and health education should be introduced. I feel like this is a step to people taking charge of their health and a positive change to the system
