Yup, 2 more weeks of clinical to go :), then exams, then niaja!!!!. Abeg if your gonna be in niaj too or you live in ph hola :)

Be Encouraged (School Convo)

Finally clinicals, are coming to an end. I have two weeks and approximately 4 working days to go. It's been a rough ride.  I remember getting into the nursing program without a clue of what I wanted. In my head all I wanted to do was talk to people within a health care setting. Right now it's the first semester of final year, Lord knows this chapter of my life was only possible in my dreams but I thank my God of impossibilities. One thing i've learnt about school is nothing is possible without putting God ontop. Honestly, when I tried to study all on my own strength I saw the failure. I tasted it, I bathed in it, I slept in it. As in....gosh I don't know how people go through uni without being saved for real. I have learnt so far that everything belongs to Him (beauty o, intelligence, etc). Also, knowing that I am the daughter of a king does and did take the stress off my back. I remember suffering from panic attacks because of school, hian one day I had to talk to myself abeg. I said "bia chidinma, how can an ordinary exam which you have studied for cause heart palpitation, common stop it". Honestly the devil can lie ehn. My Lord, and the thing is, i believed those lies just because, I forgot who I was. I let the enemy creep in and feed my mind with negativity. Well, I thank God for revelation and deliverance from that bondage. Nomore of that because this scripture ephesians 6 vs 10-20 has been my weapon against every lie of the enemy. Girding my waist with His truth to keep me from slipping, putting on my shield of faith to protect me from flying doubts and negativity and constantly praying as the spirit leads, indeed has been an eye opener as to how much I need to put on this armor on a daily basis.

Top 5 make up trends

So, while I was studying community nursing i came across this video. Don't ask me how community nursing and this are related..cause I don't know (internet na winch). This chick is hilarious but sadly, all her points are true. The first time I was introduced to highlighting and contouring, I just could not understand why someone's face would like nigeria's coat of arms or joseph's coat of many colors :|
Honestly, it was quite baffling. However, I realize that, it is for photoraphy makeup and not day to day. Because it may look good on camera and look totally off real life so but practice with caution biko
In other news i'm guilty too lol but like she said this stuff carry level

Autumn FOTD

I've been seeing alot of posts lately on fall look #1. Well this is my contribution

Often times, autumn makeup looks have a tint of dark on the lips. I chose to go soft because I adore the soft orange colors, the leaves change to. Plus there's nothing grey about today, so why should I look grey right?
I wore this look to class, my classmates kept on asking if i had a date after hahah.
Nawa, can't someone go through nursing school looking a bit decent for once puhlease!
Because, I had a paper due today, I decided to have my, "even though I am mentally stressed, i must look good" type of day. Honestly, looking reasonable (hehe), is my way of relieving stress, covering up hurt or just relaxing.

FAV FACE OF THE DAY
Everything about her face is giving me life. Prior to the post from bellanaija, I never knew much about Lupita Nyongo. I hear she's the new chick on hollywood's block. Ohwell more lotion to her skin, my is her makeup artist did a great job! I mean the color on her lips and her eyes compiment each other nicely! Definitely red carpet worthy and timeless (pls. the look is very versatile)

(Be encouraged) Beauty- A state of mind

Ehn so the other day, I left my house without makeup (I take 2 wk breaks) to meet up with a friend. This chick asked me if i had makeup on and I said no. She even swiped my cheeks looking for foundation, which i found hilarious. Anywho, then she said, "wow i never thought you could leave your house without makeup".

Pause........-_-........I was trying so hard to comprehend that statement because before I discovered makeup 1yr ago, I walked around barefaced and life was good. I love makeup now and life is still good, ain't nothing changed then and ain't nothing changed now

The issue is, does your outward appearance define your beauty? I mean their people who don't leave their house unless there face is 'beat up' or unless there dressed to the T!.

This is how I see it: Beauty is a mindset. I don't know about y'all but I truly believe that I am beautiful. I believe that, whether I'm onpoint or not because I am God's handwork and all His creations are marvelous in His sight. So if I am crafted by God, created for good works why in heavens name should items define my appearance to me. Why should items of appearance put me in a box of depression or sadness when unavailable?  I mean it's good to look neat o! Biko don't go out there looking  raggedy but please be comfortable in whom God has made you. You don't need compliments from a million and one people to confirm your beauty. I mean it never used to be like this for me, LOL. I was so insecure about my looks growing up but man; when I discovered Christ,  that nonsense got kicked to the curb

Clothes, makup and the likes are just additional stuff. Whether you own the latest trends in fashion and beauty or not. Be happy and be content because fact is you..yes You...YOU! are made by God...in His own image (flaws or not). Therefore, because His works are marvelous....so are you

My first Bride!

Now dancing atlanta! Omigosh when i did cj's makeup trial for her wedding it did not hit that she was my first bride until the d-day. To be quite honest, I was very shaky doing the makeup because i didn't want to pull off any monstrous thing on her face. But someone please say "halleluyurrrrrrr" cause i pulled off a pretty neat bridal face well i.mo. :P

In terms of the wedding, it was intimate and very beautiful coming from a country were carnival weddings are the order of the day, this was a good change for me. I remember the groom being so shaky, while awaiting his bride to walk the aisle. Ah! weddings bring out people's weakness o! lol (i always saw him as very calm).

The decor was ameezing, very very pretty. Infact the planning committee for my church try bikonu. I just love my church fam, very very caring loving people. I'm telling you find a local church, there's nothing better than having supportive people, who are always there to lend a hand.

Back to the main head line!.....AHHHHHhhh!. ok am done. Here is cj :)

To achieve neutral looks please i take God beg you, get the naked palatte. I used it on the eyes and it was so complementary to the thee cj was going for. She just wanted something glittery and simple. So get on that p! The best part of this process was the groom thanking for beautifying his bride (got me all mushy for real). I was happy that i made an impact and people recognized it. This is not the last of me LOL! The only place were moving to is up.

Thank you so much cj for giving me an opportunity to be part of your special day! you have no idea but you have sown a seed :)

Chicherz!

Makeover/trial!

Kedu! Ke kwanu? (igbo for whats up :) )

Anywhos, This weekend i was up to alot hehehe. I got to mc a bridal shower ith my friend tati which

was quite fun. It was my first time mc-ing and lets just say I learnt alot from tati (who is a pro at this).

We thank God sha lol. I came out of it alive.Even though it was just a small crowd, I have learnt to not

despise the days of small beginnings :). Which brings me to my next gist....My church fam is hosting a

wedding for one of our members. So basically what we are doing is helping the couple out with

organization and resources to give them a great wedding.

I volunteered my makeup services to the bride, who is an awesome funloving and very interesting

person by the way. Here she is....I hope sey i try :)

I know y'all can peep my clinical textbook, I was supposed to be practicing nursing

skills..ohwellies :(. I occupied myself with a hobby thats all that matters. In retrospect, this chick was

such a joy to work with. No fuss, no complaints, no nothing, chick is

cool and easy going (and i'm not just saying, she really is). I may sound extra but girl if your reading

this just know that YOU ARE DELIGHTFUL! #thatisall :D

Her, bone structures are also to die for, she's one of those people whose makeup just rests on the face

easily, without wahala. Pics don't do the transformation justice. Looking forward to

Saturday, as she ties the knot and I almost forgot! Happy Independence day Nigeria. Hope ya'll

nigerians are having fun, cause thischick is spending it in the library :(

Product crush!

Alright, As usual i've gone silent but i have a good reason!....Your girl is in final year and clinicals are

getting extremely hectic. So country people now na make it or break it time o. It's a do or die affair.

But on to lighter matters. I've been drooling over these sets by coastal scent. omg! I feel like i need them

in my life and for this new journey I'm embarking on (artist life). However, issue is i am on a strict

budget. I realized that I don't wanna end up like girls that have loads of makeup worth thousands of

dollars (put together) just laying around, no use, no value, no nothing. I don't know if you catch my

drift but chicks are getting older man. Ain't nobody gat time to spend money on wants that will just

decorate the room and fulfill personal worth. In conclusion, I  have decided to purchase the 22 piece on

black friday (yay for BLACK FRIDAY!!!!) because it is a need it, not a want it. Its for the kit yo lol.

In all honesty if i've learnt anything in this beauty journey, I have learnt to buy items that would be

used and not stacked. Aren't they beatiful ohhh my

I love Mac's Fix plus!!!

Morning People's!

How u doing (wendy accent). I am hexcited! to bring you a post about the wonderful working powers of the mac fix plus :)
There has always been a rave about this product, but i wasn't a believer till my friend ememstylo! (as i like to call her) introduced me to it. The product costs $26 in the store (but online it's suprisingly $21)and that was enough to scare me because all i saw was water in a plastic bottle but oh my friends this water carry super power lolz.

Mac calls it a skin refresher or finishing mist. I call it wonder water.

I discovered that i could use this product to get more intense shadows ( ofcourse with the aid of an eye primer). That is why i call it wonder water. This discover for me came while i was making up my friend divine. Here's her look

How I used tie fix plus: I picked up my desired shadow with my shader brush and then before spreading it over the lid, I used one spray from the bottle to mosited the shadow. It gives a brighter look on the lid trust me but you have to ensure that you have your shadow base too. I feel like that helps too

Well!. Thats all folks. Have an awesome aswesome day.

Special Occasion FOTD! plus why i've been out

Lordy lord, my blog street was a dry ground for quite a while. The reason for this harmattan palava is

that i've been busy with my life (life outside the virtual world) :) Yuppers, my momz was in OT to see

so you know what that means righttttt. Yh exactly i was overoccupied with my mother :) Which I am

not don't mind yo cause i missed her man....still missing her but man will survive been living away from

my parents for a while so big girls don't cry haha.

Yh sooo i was playing around with me toys and i created this look

Yh you may like it or not! but i'm really digging this look. Reason is that I like being safe, almost too safe with makeup and that evening i had an epiphany. Something said to me "you have makeup palettes with different colors just roasting on your counter, Do you see that mula, PUT IT TO GOOD USE". Mind you I usually have such epiphanies on unproductive days

Matter is that I obeyed and here are the results :)

Where to wear this to? Well a dinner party, a banquet, an awards ceremony or a wedding reception.
Now where did i wear this look to? Choir practice lol....i like to advertise my art, let's just put it that way

Sleek's Dare

Are you still considering sleek?
Do you feel like there is no hope in being a partakeer of this brand?
Are you confused as to what sleek is?

Well madam chichi to the rescue...confusion shall catch you no more.

Its a make up brand based in the uk and its very affordable. Unfortunately canada does not carry amazing products like sleek (don't ask me why this country carries all sorts of last)

Anyways, I refused to carry last with them thank heaven for the tube! YOUTUBE that is

Yup i found out about sleek form youtube and since then its been all love. However, i have been taken

a break from purchases because I am relearning good spending habits :)

I present to you dare by sleek

The way i like this lipstick ehhhh, as innnn, as paaa! AHHH. Especially a red that matches my kpomo lips perfectly like this, mehnnn i just had to fall in love

The lipstick tho is very dry (matte) and i love gloss so I glossed it up with a lip gloss from essence call ed  stay with me in (07-kiss kiss). Essence is myy place for lip gloss, cheap and sweet lol

This FOTD the day i wrote my mental health exam. Mehn i hate looking like dracula during exam time for real. I don't mind looking off during school periods but when exam hits, I ease up my stress with make. Weird right I know

You can get this lippie here http://www.sleekmakeup.com/

Fashion Fair in Ottawa!

Hi there,

I know y'all would wonda why I like changing my template. to be quite honest i just wanted something different. Like new I guess. This was what i could come up with so dont be shocked sha, a change may come near you again :D

Okay, some of people who live in ottawa would say, "madam are you just finding out" and my answer
is "sadly i am :(". I am always looking for alternative makeup to mac. Dont get me wrong mac is good but its not all that. Yes I SAID IT. MAC AIN'T ALL THAT :P. Plus for students like us its a bit too 'hexpensive".

Anyways I found fashion fair at the bay in rideau mall for those who live downtown in ottawa. I love fashion fair because it really caters to women of color. I mean they have all shades of black (you know caramel, capaccino, mocha, toffee or dark chocolate :D :D).

I walked in that store like i was in a candy or ice scream store i was too excited. The lady that attended to me was too cute as well. She complimented my makeup so she got points for that :D

You may ask "chichi what did you buy cut to the chase" and my reply is nothing. I tried a few products but buy??? I aint got time for that i need to use up some of the makeup i have piled at home first biko (please). My money no fit waste like that #justsaying

But if you wanna start out in makeup especially if your indecisive about foundations and your trying to save. Fashion fair is a good place to dig in.

Here is the store in rideau mall

The foundations range from $28-$21 (but you know ontario and taxes. it'll increase by 13% if you buy, so be expectant)

The 'sam fine' quads ( created by sam fine, makeup artist extraordinaire) costs $38 but are higly pigmented and silky with just one stroke. So if i was to spend $40 on this quad i wont need to buy a shadow base because the shadows are that pigmented.

The powders are about $22.50 +tax

concealers are abou $16 +tax

Lippies range from : $22-$17 +tax

So its a pretty okay affordable brand

I would probably buy a foundation or lipgloss when i am done using all my products :)

But yh yall who are shopping for makeup and other brand alternatives give this one  shot

Anyways. Have a lovely weekend.

Teen Makeup

I am a big fan of neutral makeup and age appropriate makeup. Honestly I am not a believer in makeup transforming people beyond recognition (especially if its towards the negative).

Anyways in may I applied makeup on a bridesmaid who was  either 14 years old and I remember vividly what her grandmom wanted the innocent teenage look still preserved under all the layers of foundation.

Honestly, the only solution I had for this was the give my young bridesmaid a nude look. Because sharp, loud colors tend to scream a totally different thing with regards to age and maturity

I have no before pictures, However I do have an after pick. This youngin in real pretty (trinidadian accent) lol
My goal was to ensure that her natural beauty was still maintained and her grand ma and ma were really happy with the results.

Thanks to my naked pallete by urban decay and fix plus fluid

Honestly: You can never go wrong with the urban decay pallate especially with natural fresh looks

Wearable hues

So i have been so absent from this blog. Forgive me :( for the absenteeism  but i lost my blogging mojo and i had to go back to the basic questions  "what is the aim of this blog", "what is my vision for this blog" and "how do i feel about this blog".

Anyways, My quations got answered and with the counsel of my big sisters and bro I came back to what  love MAKEUP!

Besides that my faith has grown tremendously over the past 2 months and I am excited about what God has in store for me. Honestly if you are reading this you are beautiful, makeup or not, fashionable or not, God has created you in His own image and has cleansed you in the blood of His son Jesus and that exactly is where your beauty comes from.

Remember you are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139 vs 14

Here are my wearable hues

Practice makes perfect

People that know me from way back always ask me how i got into make up or how i got good ( i see myself as someone still learning!) and i just say is practice practice practice. Honestly speaking, I took me a while to get a hang of all those youtube tutorials. While watching I would wonder how would someone spend so much time on one face??

Ohwell, i get it now. Makeup is art, it is fun. Its a hobby but be careful not to allow the hobby take over your confidence or feelings about your outward appearance. Back in the day i would brush my eyebrows and wear lipgloss with my mac studiofix powder. When i say i back in the day I am talking 2yrs back lol. Now i am conscious of my appearance but thank God i am still comfortable with my looks makeup or not

I believe i am who i am with or without makeup. Its not a huge deal. I am blabbing yes? Yes

Ok on the the matter at hand

My girl emem needed me to set her face (lol)  for a church event and as usual i had to do my thing. Usally, i start with brows, then on to the eyes. However, i switched the pocedure to eyes then brows.I found that it made the look cleaner and ama be defo adaptng my process

On her FACE..i used blackup foundation and powder. Blackup is not  a popular brand in canada however it is in Nigeria. Apparently they have a store in
I am sorry but i searched high and low and there ain't no blackup cosmetics in Ottawa. Its an expensive brand though, foundations cost $39-41annd knowing canadian taxes the prices would be higher so lol....its a good thing they are not here yet :)

Here is the website for more information http://www.blackupcosmetics.com/

EYES: was mostly colors from the naked pallete by urban decay. Its byfar the best neutral pallete out there.

Lips: I went neutral with a some light pink to give it some life

Still learning and growing

The song I am loving at the moment!!! Harmony on point. Listen listen listen

The kiss greeting thing is so awkward!

I decided to write on this topic cause its been disturbing me. AH! I live in a very very bilingual city and  kiss greeting is the order of the day. The first time i said hi to a a french african, she pulled me in and gave me two kisses on each cheek. Okay i thought this was extremely weird cause where I am from, you hug your close friends, shake you acquiantances or give a friendly wave. This happened in 010. Fastforward to 012, I got comfortable with the kiss greeting cause I attended a bilingual church  ( dominated by mostly french people) and this sorta greeting was a usual affair. It was not until yesterday I realized that i am still very uncomfortable with the kiss greeting. I guess i thought i was cool with it because i was around my church folk, which are people i see often and i've grown to know...
Last night a friend of mine introduced me to some of his french buddies and i was startled again when each person pulled me in again with the 'kiss greeting'. As in lol I was caught off guard the the first friend could only kiss one cheek. Then the remaining 3 friends got both cheeks (lol i remembered where i was). I came to realize that i am only comfortable french kissing my friends or acquiantances, not people i just met. I really wish i could just say no to people, when they wanna greet me that way. I guess that will be my next project (operation WAKGS- War against kiss greeting strangers) :|

I really wasn't raised to greet people that way at all. It is just weird, like how do you just put your lips on someone's face especially someone you just met, all in the name of greeting. Abeg a hug or a handshake will do. That's just too much invasion of personal space (i sound very northamerican, hey can't help it)

Black Opal? I just found out :|

Hi there :)

It's been a minute since i made a post but no need to fear your southeasterngyal is hurrrr. I am done

finals

and now job hunting and getting my weight loss journey on check is next on the agenda. I know..I

know i started a challenge but i had to delete it cause i wasn't serious. So yh. However once i get

myself in check ama post it. But ch'yallll please  tell me what rock i've been living in.... cause i just

discovered black opal :| This is how much of a newbie i am to this whole makeup werld! SMH.

This discovery started like so, a friend of mine gave me this amazing opportunity to be a

makeup artist for her wedding :D (yall that was supernatural news in my ears being that i loveee

weddings and makeup artistry). Anywho, I took the opportunity to build a minikit nothing to expensive

being that i just do this for fun. It was while brainstorming and researching, I discovered black opal,

black adiance and fashion fair <3. However, blackopal is what I actually went for since it was readily

avialable and affordable
My friend (asian_em) got these for me as birthday pressies (she said i should choose ) :) Since i was in

Nigeria at that time. So to the homie,i hail o :P. They They cost like $11-$12 and i am telling you this

foundation is good. The got hazel nut, nutemeg, beautiful bronze and black walnut.

Its light weight and matches black skin quite well. The only thing that threw me off was the "no pump"

affair cause this product can "weist" easily.

I mean it is just that light! She also got me the deluxe finishing powder in dark. Its pretty close to yout

mac msf. It sets the foundation pretty well. It comes in different shades just check out their website

I really hate the fact that they dont ship to canada!!!!!!! but issokia. If you like in Ottawa, "mama cee" is

ya friend!

Now for the juice.

:) :) :)

I used the products on my friend and they came out quite nicely on my friend. I forgot what colors are

mixed exactly (i think beautiful bronze and hazel nut). But the website is self explanatory as to what

color will match your skin. This is supposed to be a brides maid look....She didn't like the undereye

shimmer so we did some editing (last pic on the left).

Lids: Naked palatte by urban decay, "sin", 28 shadow and blush pallete and a deep brown my 88 matte palatte. Lower lid (Silvery color from my 88 palatte). I really wish colors by bh cosmetics had names :(

28 shadow and blush pallete
(BH cosmetics)
Eyes (liner): maybelline's eye studio gel liner in carbon, rimmel's exxagerate, great lash by maybelline

for mascara.

Face: Mac prep and prime face primer, black opal true color liquid foundation (hazel nut and beautiful bronze), black opal deluxe fnishing powder in deep.

Lips: lip combo ( sleek naked and kate moss rimmel long lasting finish in 101)

Cheeks: 28 shadow and blush pallete by Bh cosmetics

So ya overall blak opal just needs to get pumps for their foundation o! Cause the foundation dey real

liquidy no be small

Good alternative for those on a budget

Higher education= No marriage...since when?

It has gotten to that point in my programme where we are all thinking about the "next step", "now what" and "what next". I have always had a passion for working with mother and baby or working in delivery and with this comes the drive to go past undergrad into something much greater. So this is what happened o...

The otherday my professor gave a presentation on her master's thesis, afterwhich shes asked, "who is interested in a masters program?" A handful of my classmates raised hands (me inclusive) and then I heard a woman whisper to me "your gonna drive men away with your too much knowledge"

HIEY? see me see wahala? as pa..see me see cheese balls. The way I cringed at that statement was beyond me. Offcourse it was coming from african woman NOT a nigerian woman ( but woman from the central part of africa). I am very suprised that people pass through north america but have not allowed north america to pass through them.  Even at that there was no excuse for the comment because women back home (well in Nigeria) are high achievers and are married.

Like how do you tell a young girl in her early 20's such a thing? usually older women encourage younger women to aim higher. To be quite honest i found it funny and right there I was greatful for the supportive and higher achieving parents God put in my life (Cause my mom had never even uttered such a statement to me).

Beware of dream crushers, negative people and bad belle in general that is how they go sowing seeds. Kill it! Dont water it or let those sort of bad seeds grow

A higher education does not deprive a person of a fulfilling marriage or even marriage. God is the author and finisher! and His thoughts are always of good (Jeremiah 29vs11)

Busy with exams.....last one so i am hanging in there

Spring came knocking....

So on saturday, the sun was just too beautiful to go to weist but as usual canadian sun is nothing but a camouflage. Na when person reach outside you go know sey the sun na just decoration. In order news i have been begging this chica to be my muse for the longest time and finally it was a date! My friend was a bit skeptical about the colors cause she always played safe. But i had to reassure her that it would make sense lol. It did make sense right???

I introduce to you asian_em LOL! I can't say the real name for confidentiality reasons (i am a nurse at heart :P) but she's my homedawwgskilletz from back when......

Kachifuoh (goodnight)
My friend shared this song with me...thought I'd share it here. I really needed this :) Shoutout to RP!

Did you say candy?

Hi peoples,

This is just a public announcement which is to inform yall that I PASSED MY MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL! yes i got my satisfactory, I ended the therapeutic relationship and I bounced out like a bause :D

Ok on to my main reason for posting. There is such a rave about mac's candy yum yum and it seems like the trend this summer is all about candy cotton lips. I don't follow trends but i i thought i'd try something more daring. I have big lips so a sharp color on my lips increases my lip size but pls why not. Every one has a thing here and there that is off. So, with this thought i bought the sleek "loved up" and "dare" to add to the lippie collecsion!

Dare does'nt have a long staying power so you would need to touch up alot and I suggest moisturizing lips with you fav lip balm before using the lippie

Love Up has a neon pink feel. It is a bright color. So beware. It is outside my comfort zone cause I like i said my lips are really full. I can't wait to try it on a look.It lasts longer than Dare

Generally they are good colors. I mean you can never go wrong with sleek lippies. Budget is $6-7. Loved up is also a sub for mac's candy yum yum. So if your a student and financially constrained sleek's loved up is ya best bet

Goodnight :)

Hello Abu dhabi (:

Today was my 2nd to last day of mental health rotation, so I decided to put on some professional makeup lol. I usually don't wear makeup for clinical rotation but this rotation has been the most chilled clinical ever.

Here is my "minimalist look" with a nude lip :)

I achieved the lips with Abu-dabi lol...thats the name of the lip cream

Nyx describes it as "it's not lipstick. nor is it gloss, it's like nothing you've experiences before. It's lipstick cream that goes om silky but looks soft matte".

I agree. It was like $8.99 from the drug store. Its hard to find Nyx in canadian drug stores though and if you do, you don't get the full nyx range if you know what I mean.

I like the lip cream. I am a glossy girl, so the the drying effect "matte effect" doesnt thrill me much but it's definitely an on-the-go nude lippie. (Just have a lip balm with you)

I advice moisturizing your lips before application cause applying this on cracked lips ain't cute one bit.

Abu dhabi is definitely my nude <3.

A wide range of colors are also available. So make your choice people.

The shoppers drug mart on rideau street has them in stock! for the OT people

Tomorrow is my last clinical rotation *now dancing cultural dance* hehehehe.

Mental health was challenging. I came, saw and I conquered (in Jesus name) and tomorrow i get my Satisfactory (in Jesus name).

Alright back to my bookworm life

Winter Buddies

Spring is finally here *dancing alanta* but my friends in a place like CA where bipolar weather rains supreme, it can snow any time. In all things i like living here so mek i no complain too much. Winter is so drying so ladies gotta have reinforcement to kill the spirit of ashiness and bad odor. Ah yelz in these parts people can stay 1wk without taking a bath i. I know this because i use public transit so my nose has encountered things LAWWWWD

This is how I survived winter

The st Ives Body wash in oat meal and shea butter has been good to be people ah. It has this moisturizing feel to it and trust me in the winter you need all the moisture in the world. I usually don't like body wash cause i always felt like stock fish after using one. As in my skin would feel so dryyy. I don't know but i think its the shea butter in this wash that keeps my skin supple. I bought like 3 in the sinter season, that's how much my skin is loving it. It has a rich creamy consistency and lathers very well (i loveeee lather).

You can purchase this from your closest walmart, shoppers, giant tiger or on www.well.ca

Price range ($6-$8)

My next items are VASELINE!!!!

I am forever loyal to the cocoa radiant and cocoa butter petroleum jelly. With these products I don't have to keep oiling my skin. Once i've moisturized in the morning, I'm set to for the whole day. What i do is i mix the lotion and petroleum jelly to get a long lasting moisturizing effect. I've been doing that since SINCE!

FINALLY MY FAB FIVE

Haha my fab 5 oh yes! From left to right
1) Vaseline in convenience size: Please i have dropped all these fancy hand creams that keep my hand moisturized for 5 secs. On to better things eh!. I keep this tube in my bag to maintain my hand moisture. My nail beds break alot in the winter due to dry skin. I tried everything but i've discovered that simple vaseline does the trick. Back to basics people! Vaseline is the greatest hahaha

2) Dove Body Mist: This is in cucumber and green tea scent. Please this mist is ALWAYS in my bag because my nose is sensitive. The spray keeps me smelling nice at ALL times, so incase am on the bus and my nose is suffering, I would be able to bury my head in my scented clothes :) Smart eyyyy

3) Hand sanitizer: This is the MOST important item in the winter. People you need this the flu is real. With the way people be sneezing and touching doors and handles, you gotsa be hextra careful BIKO. Hands are notorious germ carriers, so i keep a hand sanitizer in my bag. Visit the dollar store. They have enough

4) Nivea lip balm: I don't need to talk to much. Lips need moisture its not nice carrying white lips up and down the place. Treat your lips nicely please. Its on your face and one of the first things people see. Keep them moisturized

5) Last but not least ROBB!!!!!
I grew up on robb man. My parents always used it as a soother when i felt cramps or when i had a cold (catarrh lol). I honestly can't tell you why i use this in the winter but one thing is it generates some sort of inner heat hahaha. It's my 'to use' item before sleeping. I use it on my sides, chest and neck. The downside is that i'm filled with nostalgia each time i smell the ointment, memories just flood in. I miss home sha.

Have a good easter weekend.
Jesus is the reason for the season
Don't ever forget the sacrifie that was made for you and I

However, Before I dipp

This was my Good Friday! OTT is beautiful forreal

Weekend Paroles

This weekend has been such a blast. I took a break from school and all the loadt lol and chilled with my ANY (all nations youth)  fam. It was too legit. I am in the youth choir and this song is what we're on. At first i wasn't into it but with several listens the lyrics have been ingrained in the heart of yours truly. So listen and remain blessed

So why was my weekend a blast? Well, I attended a 'women's net' organised by the women of my church. It's basically a gathering of women who want to grow and learn in the Lord. There were women of all ages in attendance yo. I had so much fun learning from the older generation. Honestly, I am always happy to hear from the experienced bunch. You get to learn what not to do, what to do, how to handle relationships, men, school, life, prayer. Infact everything under the sun and this is exactly what I need right now (Guidiance). I am only 21...i don't know much..so when older ladies talk i like to draw my ear :)

Then my ANY bro had a birthday partay :). Ahh it felt good to unwind and be yourself. There is justsomething about being amongst young people who are REAL. As in young people who are unashamed to declare Christ. There is so much peace in that sort of atmosphere. There is no need to act 'cool', you are able to share your struggles and set backs with your Walk. That is, thank God for the  blood. It sets you free in the most unimaginable way. There is nothing like peace of mind in Christ Jesus especially in this crazy world of today, deciet is only a conversation away #true talk. Surround yourself with people that challenge you, that stir up your christian faith, that speak life into you. It is so easy to walk by flesh and not by the SPIRIT (Galatians 5 vs 16)
"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh" (NIV)

Before I dipp, here is my weekend FOTD
Hi there :)
"simple look for a simple weekend"

Women's net excitment :)
